Spiritual Development

In the book of Isaiah, God reveals to us that he shows us the end from the beginning in order that we are not surprised.

We have been looking at the seven feasts of the Lord. They are not called the feasts of the Jews nor the feasts of Israel otherwise they would only pertain to the Jews. They are called the feasts of the Lord and therefore they apply to the Lord and to you.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Hebrews 12:14

Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord. 

In our last article we were looking at living a sanctified life which is a life that is separated unto God and for God. There are tremendous blessings in sanctification. The believer needs to realize that redemption is threefold:

I have been a Christian for over thirty years and in these years there is one thing  that I have discovered to be peculiar and intriguing.

Going to church is extremely important.

There are so many believers today who do not realize the importance of faith.  Some think that by the term faith we merely mean, 'a belief in God' or referring to a particular religion.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts2:4

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms. For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
